It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Casas of Bronson, Florida, born in Key West, Florida, who passed away on August 19, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Manuel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Manuel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Casas and Elizabeth Casas; and his sisters, Davie Casas and Zulema Casas. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Casas and Deborah Dupree (Greg); his sibling's children, Teresa Montgomery (Ralph), Elizabeth Ann Palmeri, Dave Gonzales (Elizabeth) and John Hood; and his friend Mary McDaniel.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Weems & Sons Funeral Homes - Williston (512 E Noble Ave, Williston, FL 32696). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
