She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Whitten (Croft) and Walter Whitten; her husband John Rutledge; and her siblings, Jack Bass and Gina Croft.
She is survived by: her sons, John Wade of Trenton and Rick (Mary) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Zack, Alex of Orlando, Jake and Elizabeth of Charlotte; and her brother Gary Croft of Cashiers, NC..
