He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hampton; his children, Alton Dennis Hampton of East Orange, NJ, Jeffrey Hampton of Oak Ridge, TN, Terry Hampton of Staten Island, NY, Anthony Hampton of Las Vegas, NV and Judy Hampton of Wildwood, FL.; his sister Mattie Valion of Rochester, NY; his siblings-in-law, Cathy Lang and Dexter Lang; his daughters-in-law, Gail Hampton, Sharifa Hampton and Janice Hampton; his grandchildren, LaDeva Hampton, Brandon Lamar Hampton, Kimberley Hampton, Shannon Hampton, Arielle Hampton, Kavi Luca, Zachary Hampton and Terry Hampton Jr.; his great grandchildren, Jaí Hampton, Kaí Hampton, Tiana Griffith, Brandon J. Hampton and Sariyah Hampton; and his great great grandchildren, DéMauri Murray, Nazir Hampton and Christen Marshall. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
