He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Edison McIntyre and Elizabeth Vause McIntyre; and his son Daniel Edward (Danny). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his daughter Katie Gingrich; and his child-in-law Chris. He is also survived by many extended family members and special friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Brooksville Cemetery (1275 Olmes Rd, Brooksville, FL 34601).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Dan's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, as a testament to his enduring legacy of helping children or to Samaritan's Purse in Boone, NC to continue his life-long goal of helping others.
