She is survived by: her husband James Jones of Niagara Falls, NY; her children, Tara Nixon of Oklahoma City, OK and Willie Nixon of Brooksville, FL; her grandchildren, Jamar Maner of Brooksville, FL, Qu'Niyah Nixon of Brooksville, FL, Quanell Nixon of Brooksville, FL, Quantia Nixon of Brooksville, FL and Quavionna Nixon of Brooksville, FL; her siblings, Debra Black of Brooksville, FL, Daisy Black of Spring Hill, FL, Janice Burkes (Craig) of Georgia, Jersey Joe Black of Brooksville, FL. and James Johnson of Brooksville, FL.; her daughter Chiquita Black; her goddaughters, Sheena and Nina; her friends, Diane Johnson and Martha Carol Maner; Angie. She is also survived by numerous cousins, dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (600 Wood Dr, Brooksville, FL 34601).
