We announce the death of Gary D. Weikart Sr. in Brooksville, Florida, who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Weikart and Mary Ella Weikart (Shepard); and his wife Loraine Weikart (Fowler). He is survived by: his close friend Glenda Swesey of Brooksville, Florida; his sons, Gary Weikart Jr. (Brandie) of Salem and Eric A. Weikart (Leigh Anne) of Holly Springs; his grandchildren, Alex Weikart (Rachel), Brandon Weikart, Emily Richmond (Tyler), Emery Weikart and McKenna Weikart; and his great grandchildren, Xavier Weikart, Nora Weikart and Myles Weikart. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stark Memorial (1014 E State St, Salem, OH 44460). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home (1014 E State St, Salem, OH 44460).
