He is survived by: his children, Mary Ellen Matthews, Kathy Irizarry (Al), Theresa Persse, Jeff Persse (Lisa), Patricia Shaw (Bob), Michael Persse (Pam) and John Persse. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 4 nephews.
