We bid farewell to Joel N Jarvi of Brooksville, Florida, born in Ishpeming, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 4, 2024 at the age of 80. Joel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar Jarvi and Elsie Jarvi (Rivers); and his brother Leroy. He is survived by : his former life partner Bonnie MacPherson; his wife Janice of Brooksville; his daughter Kathy Heiskanen (Tom) of Negaunee; his stepchildren, Don, Randy and Kim; his granddaughters, Traci Dietz (Paul) and Mary LaPoint (Marc); his sisters, Jeanne Manginen, Susan Hedemann (Pete) and Linda Thomas (Bob); and his sister-in-law Linda (Cindy Shorkey).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to UPAWS (Upper Peninsula Animal Shelter) that he cared so much about.
