We are sad to announce that, on November 21, 2023, at the age of 79, John Edwin Plankey of Brooksville, Florida, born in Springfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Plankey and Ruth M. Plankey; his wife Emily Quirk Plankey of Brooksville, FL.; his children, Christopher (Marian Plankey), John Jr. (Mindi Plankey), Cindy (Donald Hess), Brian Plankey of Seminole, FL. and Kevin (Heather Plankey); and his sisters, Maxine Styers and Mary Gilio of Lutz, FL.. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
