She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Claxon and Hazel Bush Claxon; her grandson Andrew Douglas Kopel (Robert L. Sharbaugh); and her siblings, Anna Lou, Johnny, Ernie, Lois, Gary and Wanda Claxon.
She is survived by: her daughter Tamara Lynn Kopel; her brother Paul Claxon (Pam); her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Tackett and Donna K. Jones (Roger); and her daughter-in-law Lisa Sharbaugh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Florida Cancer Center.
