It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leah MacKercher of Brooksville, Florida, who passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Mathews and Mary Mathews (Koonsman); her husband John Cameron MacKercher (Jack); her brother Irwin; her sister-in-law Hazel Mathews; her brother Donald; her sister-in-law Marsha Matthews; her grandson Donald Mark MacKercher; and her son Donald Mark MacKercher (Duncan James MacKercher).
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Mathew MacKercher and Jamie Ann (Joseph Thomas); her grandsons, John Kirk, Sean Michael and Ian Wesley Thomas; her son John Cameron; her grandchild Jett; her daughter Dr. Jana Lauren (Jake Elliker); her grandsons, Charles and Samuel; her children, Rob Roy MacKercher (Cynthia), Kristin Marie (William Blakeney), Wills and Lucille; and her grandchildren, Rob Roy, III, Cameron Marie Carper and Caroline Marie Carper. She is also survived by her family and was blessed with 5 children, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
