He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roland Nostrand and Olga Van Nostrand (Petr); his wife Rachael; his son Michael W. Van Nostrand, Jr.; his brother Thomas Van Nostrand; and his nephew Richard Van Nostrand. He was also cherished by his family; an uncle and cousins.
