She is survived by: her children, LaShawn Smith-Pope of Brooksville, FL, Nedda Francine Kelly (Frank) of Brooksville, FL, Larry Gates Sr. (Tomyka) of Brooksville, FL and Arthur R. Gates III (Virginia) of Houston, Texas; her siblings, Bonita Williams Maner of Brooksville, FL and Fredrick D. Clayton (Cassandra) of Brooksville, FL; her granddaughter Shakona Smith; and her cousin Stalicia Gaile Roundtree. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
