He was predeceased by: his father Douglas N. Cooper; his siblings, Douglas C. Cooper, Donald B. Cooper and W. Joan Pedersen; and his twin-sister Phyllis J. Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Cooper; his sister Diane L. Busick; his sons, David Cooper-D'Amico (Gina) and Daniel Cooper (Chelsea); and his stepchildren, Giancarlo Marucci (Nancy), Chris Marucci (Debbie), Marc Marucci (JoAnn), Yvonne Nunn (Robert), Deborah Fluri (Nicholas) and Robert Greame (Joanne). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren.
