He was predeceased by : his parents, Willis Sixt and Rose Sixt. He is survived by : his stepson Lee Krauss (Karen) of Bushnell, Florida; his granddaughter Nicole Goson (Kristoff) of Charlotte; his great grandchildren, Gabrielle Goson of Charlotte and Gianna Goson of Charlotte; and his close friend Pamela Hutchens of Brooksville, Florida..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sturgill Hospice House of HPH Hospice in Brooksville, Florida.
