He is survived by: his children, Jean Chamberlain (Sonny), George Jr. (Louise Cyr) and Susan Anderson (Bryan); his son-in-law Gilbert Maxey; his grandchildren, Bobby Alt, Adam Alt (Annabeth), Dawn Fichot, Justin Alt (Krysia), Dana Boynton (Greg), George Matthew Fichot III (Melissa Pinto) and Bryan Kramer; and his great grandchildren, Isabella Alt, Adeline, Willa, Austin, Avery Alt, Joseph and Nicholas Boynton.
