He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Pearl Thorson. He is survived by: his children, Diana Filiatrault (Steve Filiatrault), Bino Thorson Duran (Keyla Duran) and Daniel Thorson; his grandchildren, Cole Kaffenbarger and Emilie Filiatrault; and his siblings, Ned Thorson, Karen Thorson, Lloyd Thorson and Sandra Barstow.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home (645 W Central Ave, Winter Haven, FL 33880). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
