He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Weister and Iva Weister (Adams). He is survived by: his significant other Leona "Lee" Weister; his children, Marilyn Prescott, Pamela O'Keefe (Jay), Dain Weister (Angela), Scott Markel (Jesica) and Tanja Markel; his cousins, Lynn Fennell and Sam Fennell; and his siblings-in-law, Charles, Nancy Lee and Dennis Rittenhouse. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church (250 Avenida Los Angelos, The Villages, FL 32162). A burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
