He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whitlock Jr. and Arteal Black Whitlock; his brother Jimmy; and his sister-in-law Marie Whitlock. He is survived by: his wife Wanda McLeod Whitlock; his children, Christie (Rudy) and Michael (Kristie); and his grandchildren, Kaylin, Abbey (Christie), Peyton and Pierce (Michael). He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren, as well as other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Heart Association.
