He is survived by: his son James Stephen Garbett, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Allison Garbett; and his grandchildren, Anita Garbett, Elmon Walters, Jr. and Parker Garbett. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
