He is survived by: his wife Donna Sullivan Hatley; his son John Hatley Thiltgen; his daughter-in-law Megan; his stepchildren, Scott (Cyndy Stiglich) and Cheri (Ray Lopez); his grandchildren, Brandon, Marianna Stiglich, Ashlee, Josh Elliott, Matthew Stiglich and Lex Matthews; and his great grandchildren, Luna, Sophia Stiglich and Lana Rose Elliott.

A procession will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 8:00 AM at the Beyers Funeral Home (101 S 11th St, Leesburg, FL 34748). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513-8914).
