With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Muriel Anita Kozee (Bushnell, Florida), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband James Charles Kozee; her children, Daryll Kozee (Sandra) and Simone Kozee; her grandchildren, Nicole Degennaro (Sam), Gabriel Pabon-Kozee (Sarah), Austin Pabon-Kozee (Faith Graham), Joshua Pabon-Kozee (Patty Miszuk) and Madison Kozee (Javian Hernandez); her brother Roger Elliot; her nephew Roger Elliot Jr. (Tammy); and her friend Irene.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Merritt Funeral Home (2 S Lemon Ave, Brooksville, FL 34601). The military honors will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
She would also use her sewing skills to make clothing for donation to Faith Lutheran Church.
