She is survived by: her children, Nick Mercorella (Karen) of Glen St and Kathleen Alvarez (Toussaint) of Lake Worth, Florida; her stepsons, Leon Edward Szymanski (Cheri) of St. Augustine and Jack Szymanski of Ventura County, California; her sister Henrietta Balzamo of Sayreville; and her grandchildren, Alexandra, Kyle, Christian, Elizabeth, Jacob, Joshua, Nicky II, Jimmy, Sadie and Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Viola's memory.
