He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harold Brown and Katherine Margaret Brown; and his sister Lila Williams (Jeff). He is survived by: his wife Cindy Brown; his sons, Curtis Brown, Jr. (Toni), Christopher Brown (Coreylyn) and Cory Brown (Amanda); his grandchildren, Haley, Makenzie, Corbin, Davis, Kendall, Jameson, Jagger and Barrett; and his brother Carl Brown (Mary Jo).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to diabetes research in his memory.
