He was predeceased by: his parents, James Durbec and Francis Smith Durbec; and his brothers, Jimmy, Jack and Freddie Durbec.

He is survived by: his daughter Laura Durbec of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Kelsey Nicole Durbec and Bradley Leon Durbec; and his sister Audrey Durbec of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
