He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Russell and Ida Doris Higginbotham. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Wright Higginbotham; his daughters, Lana Higginbotham, Dolly Gill (Keith) and Susan Cummings (Jason); his grandchildren, Katie Giles, Haylie Whittenburg (Zack), Kyle Gill, Kendall Bowen (Matthew), Jacob Cummings and Justin Cummings; and his siblings, Paul Higginbotham (Sandra), Iris Coleman and Virginia Higginbotham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the River Road Baptist Church Building Fund or The Gideon's International.
