She was predeceased by: her husbands, Harold Loyd Meharg, Donald "Jack" Brown and Robert "Bobby" Rawson; her son Kenny Meharg; her parents, Palmer Jordan and Evie Estelle Riley Godwin; and her siblings, Elmore Godwin, Dot Tucker, Ruby Skipper of Louise Ethridge, P. J and Jean Barton.
She is survived by: her daughter Perian Herring (Eddie); her daughter-in-law Sharon Meharg; her children, Donnie Brown (Rita Lynn), Michael Brown (Vernie) and Rory Dale Shellhammer; her grandchildren, Allison Schachle (Jake), Lynsey McAnally (Cameron), Logan Herring (Jessica), Leanna Finley (Romeo), Sherry Lynn Brown (Joey) and Cortney Jennings (Jennifer); and her great grandchild Fallon Rose Finley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Emerald Coast Hospice in Crestview in memory of Evelyn.
