We announce the death of Mary Dean Stokes of Cantonment, Florida, who passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordie Hartsfield and Pearl Hartsfield; her husband James Melvin Stokes, Jr.; her daughter Connie Stokes Reynolds; and her siblings, Gordalee Gill, Erma Jean Wallis, Billie Earle Brasher, Verina Anne Ball and Harold L. Hartsfield.
She is survived by: her sister Sara Nell Weldon; her daughter Suzanne Stokes; her granddaughters, Holly DeAnn Reynolds and Heather Lane Nicholls (John); her son-in-law Ronnie Reynolds; and her great grandchildren, Zoey DeAnn Milstead, Zachary Michael Milstead, Connie Noel Nicholls and Houston Grey Nicholls. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
