We announce the death of Michael Todd Petty of Pensacola, Florida, born in Pocatello, Idaho, who passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 62. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Michael Lee Petty; and his great-aunt Ida Tanner. He is survived by: his wife Tracy; his children, Megan Gaydos (Nick) and Joshua Petty (Taylor); his stepchildren, Christine Berry, Candice Roberts and John Burggraf; his mother Josalyn Petty; his sister Traci Lambson (Garth); and his grandchildren, Caroline, Selah, Owen, Kaylen and Ella. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Faith Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory - North (1000 S Hwy 29, Cantonment, FL 32533). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Barrancas National Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
