It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Jeanette Wells (Cantonment, Florida), who passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Adolph Shields; her husband John A. Wells Jr.; her son Kevin; and her siblings, Rudolph, Raydolph Shields and Annette Lawrence.
She is survived by: her mother Daisy Lee Shields; her grandchild Colby Wells; her siblings, Juliette Amendolare and Randy Shields; and her daughter-in-law Sabrina Wells.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Faith Chapel North (1000 S Hwy 29, Cantonment, FL 32533). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
