Cathy L (Burt) Burt Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that Cathy L Burt (Cape Coral, Florida), passed away on October 15, 2022, peacefully, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Cathy was born in South Korea and came to the USA in the spring of 1975. Cathy was briefly married to Jeremy Peterson (deceased), gifted with a beautiful daughter Willow Peterson, then settled in Cape Coral in 1998 with her life partner Brent Carmany.
She is survived by her father Allen Jay Burt Jr (deceased), and mother Yongcha Sword (Cha), brother Thomas Allen Burt, 2 nieces (Keauna Newell, and Kayla Wentworth), 3 great nieces (Mila, Esme, and Berkley), and a great nephew (Dane).

In March 2020, she was diagnosed with Tripple-negative breast cancer, In March 2022, cancer spread to her liver, and she fought with everything she had. She loved her family, friends, music, and hiking with her brother in Northern Vermont, New Hampshire where she grew up.
Cathy will be forever in our hearts until we meet again in heaven.
