Ray Schmidt wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Nancy, Ray and myself are just so shocked and very, very sad to hear of Charlie's untimely passing. It just does not seem possible. Our Catholic faith tells us not to query, but at times like this it is so difficult not to .We know that Charlie is in Heaven and the perpetual light is shining upon him. With our sincere sympathy to you and your family. Ray and Marie”
