He was predeceased by : his parents, Lyle Edgar and Sadie Crisp Hood; his wife Amie Adeline Hood (Woods); his daughter Delores "Dee" Williams; and his sister Betty White (Marietta Dean).
He is survived by : his daughter Dorothy "Dottie" Buckhorn (Leonard) of Cape Coral; his granddaughters, Tina Bell, Vickie Townes and Tonya Buckhorn; and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Steven Ray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
