He is survived by: his wife Mary; his brother John Douglas Rice; his children, Edward Jr. and Lisa; his son-in-law Richard Kovacs of Florida; his daughter Piper; his grandchildren, Adriane, Jade, Phillip, Nicholas, Mackenzie and Maddie; and his nephew Edward.
