She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Laney and Estella Laney; and her siblings, Vertis Headrick and Wayne Laney. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Alvis Chamlee; her children, Bobby Chamlee, Theresa Jarosz (Bill), David Chamlee and Darlene Smith (Ken); her grandchildren, Bobby Chamlee Jr., Chad Chamlee (Destinee), Scott Chamlee (Yanesa), Kendra Smith (Madi) and Laney Smith; and her sisters, Alean Gorham and Ila Mae Hart. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
