Gary James Winkel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary James Winkel of Cape Coral, Florida, who passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Winkel and Helen "Dolly" Winkel; his siblings, Robert Winkel and Kay Lynn Winkel; and his father-in-law Donald Blakely.
He is survived by: his grandson Joe; his wife Janice Lynn Blakely of Cape Coral, FL; his children, Tracy Prokopetz (Jason) of Cape Coral, FL and Joe Meadows (Frankie Bliss) of Munising, MI; his siblings, Rick Winkel (Donna) of Manistique, Cindy Rodgers (Dan) of Gulliver, MI and Deb Musgrave (Ferris) of Manistique, MI; his niece Laura Carlson (Jon); his nephew Dave Winkel of Manistique; and his grandchildren, Jadon, Jaron Prokopetz, Eiza, Elijah and Ezamae Bliss. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
