He was predeceased by : his parents, Hector Guindon and Beverly Guindon (Cook). He is survived by : his wife Bella Guindon (Owen); his siblings, Vern Guindon (Carol), Phillip Guindon (Jean), Vick Barish (Alice) and Deanna Ash (Tim); and his children, Howard Campbell (Tammy), Jerry Campbell (Beth), Kevin Guindon (Jessica) and Coral Guindon.

Carol Sutton wrote a sympathy message

“Want to extend my personal condolences to Bella and Howard along with their friends and family. Loved to hear the stories Howard told as we walked our dogs at Rosen Park. Howard dearly loved his dog, Angel. I’m sure she will miss him. I will miss his laugh and wonderful sense of humor. Also, the occasional flirting. Howard was such a talented man. Will always remember his talent of making the lighthouse replica. I’m blessed to have know him. May Howard RIP and his family find peace.”
