We announce the death of Janet Lyons of Cape Coral, Florida, born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 83. Janet will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert C. Lyons Jr. of Parkersburg; her parents, Charles H. Swift and Lorette Swift; and her sister Patricia Helie. She is survived by: her sons, Albert C. Lyons III (Michele Lyons), Jeffrey Pagoaga (Chris Pagoaga), Christopher M. Lyons (Melissa Lyons) and Jason C. Lyons (Skye Lyons); her siblings, Charles Swift, Charleen Testagrossa, LindaRuuska, Diane Hollis and David Swift; her grandchildren, Nichole Lyons, Ashtin Morio, Kody Morio, Emily Lyons, Anna Lyons, Brittini Lyons, Jaime Boudreau, Dakota Lyons, Blake DeVecchis, Teighan Taylor, Brooke Lyons, PeytonLyons and Jake Lyons; and her great grandchildren, Ryley Vanderlinden, Willow Boudreau, Harlow Boudreau and Rory Ott. She is also survived by her children, their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers andsisters, extended family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the LaveryChartrand Alario Funeral Home (99 Summer St, Fitchburg, MA 01420). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Lake Church (1400 Main St, Leominster, MA 01453). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the TBD Saint Bernard Cemetery (96 Goodrich St, Fitchburg, MA 01420).
