He was predeceased by: the mother of his child Kimberley Marie Burdick. He is survived by: his parents, David Stern and Beth Stern of Cape Coral; his son John David Francis Stern; his sister Mindi Spearance (Mitchell Barnhill) of Cape Coral; his grandparents, Francis, Anita Trupo of Friendship, NY and Joan "DeeDee" Stern of Holley, NY; and his uncle Thomas Scott "Uncle Buck" Trupo. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles, great aunts and uncles and many cousins.
