He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Scott Burnham; his daughters, Kathy Ellen Burnham and Jennifer Ellen Norris Burnham; and his sisters, Jill Bowser and Mary Anne Hill.

He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Elizabeth Hughes (family: Douglas F. Hughes, Stephen Eric Hughes, Amy Catherine Hughes) and Leslie Ruth DiMartino (family: Fred DiMartino, Caroline Elizabeth DiMartino, Michelle Theresa DiMartino); his friend Elaine Jett; and his close friend Sally Sartain Jane. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews & friends.
