John Stafford Deering Obituary

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John Stafford leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Deering and Kathleen Deering; and his brother Bobby. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his son Shaun (Jill) of Arlington, VA; his pets, Zoey and Gracie; and his brothers, Charles Miley and William Douglas "Billy" (Nancy) of Naples, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Deering Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
