With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Francis Hetz of Cape Coral, Florida, born in Lonaconing, Maryland, who passed away on December 25, 2022 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hetz and Ida Hetz (Garlitz); and his siblings, Edward, Bernard, Evelyn, Alice and Edith.

He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Hetz (Bill Crowe) of Cape Coral, FL; his sister Nellie Catherine Hetz of Avilton, MD; his grandsons, Robert and Shawn Hetz; and his great grandchildren, Autumn, Emily and Ryan Hetz.
