With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard C. Empert of Cape Coral, Florida, born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on November 25, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Empert and Elizabeth Empert; his former wife Angela Bocchino Empert; and his siblings, Steven, Tony, Maryann, Betty and Joyce.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Empert of Cape Coral, FL; his children, Richard Empert (Sheryl) of Fort Myers, FL, Brenda Empert Hanson (Chuck) of Verbank, NY, Linda Empert of Cape Coral, FL and Nicholas Jerolino of Cape Coral, FL; his grandchildren, Christopher, Matthews, Adam, Lauren and Rachel; and his great grandchildren, Zach, Owen, Ben, Olivia and Eliza. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, http://www.stjude.org in loving memory of Richard C. Empert.
