It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Hernandez of Cape Coral, Florida, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Hernandez (Garcia) and Pedro Hernandez; and his brother Rudy. He is survived by: his girlfriend Cathie Chaplin; his daughter Lisa Marie Fratto; his granddaughter Samantha Fratto-Spacone; and his siblings, Bea, Ed, Alice, Virg, Dale, Cynthia, Ray and Laurie.

This organization is dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned, abused and injured dogs primarily from high kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
