He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Meli and Dolores Meli (Ketchum). He is survived by: his wife Judy; his half-sisters, Jacqueline Tharp and Donna Petrovich of Indianapolis; his stepsons, Scot Atwood (Kim), Jeffrey Atwood (Barb), Michael Atwood (Suzette) and Charles Thomson (Kyla); and his stepgrandchildren, Jordan, Jared, Amelia, Thomas, Vivian, Kara, Ellie and Quinn.
