He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin and Clara; his sister Evelyn; and his granddaughter Charlsey. He is survived by: his children, Sandra (Frank), Joanne (Charles), Nancy and Michael (Shelle); his grandchildren, Katelynn, Matthew, Hannah, Caleb, Micaela and Christin; and his siblings, Pauline (Ron), Carol (Howard) and David (Dianne).
