He is survived by : his close friend Heather Maldanado of Cape Coral; his mother Peggy Allen of Durham, NC; his children, Hunter Hughes of Cape Coral and Marasia Maldanado; his brother Jamie Allen of Durham, NC; his sisters-in-law, Tiffany Maldanado of Cape Coral and Regina Allen of Durham, NC; his nephews, Robert and Isaiah; his niece Mariah; his great-niece Amirah; his aunts and uncles, Frances Barnette, Barbara Barnette of Roxboro, NC, Stephanie Edwards of Roxboro, NC, Queenie McCain of Danville, VA, Terry Wayne Thompson of Durham, NC, James McCain of Danville, VA and LeMosby Harmar of Semora, NC; his great-aunt Shirley Ann Thompson of Rocky Mount, VA; and his grandson Ace. He is also survived by cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Mullins Memorial (3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
