He is survived by: his wife Helena; his daughter Julie Pires; his stepdaughter Sara Prousalis (Bob); his grandsons, Tiago, Armani and Jaceon; and his stepgrandsons, Lucas and Benjamin. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
