He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Cooper of Caryville, FL; his children, Pauline Paul (John), Natasha Cooper (Chris Wood) and John Cooper (Heather); his siblings, Vitana Gordon of Caryville, FL and Leon Cooper of Caryville, FL; and his grandchildren, Bubba Cooper, Shellie Murray, Slim Murray, Odie Murray, Shay Paul, Joanie Paul, Taree Curry, Kayla Curry and Reagan Cooper. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
