He is survived by : his wife Catherine Varnum Schlein; his children, Alex Schlein, Kim Schlein and Lisa Schlein Smith; his son-in-law Timothy Smith; his granddaughters, Lucy, Molly, Alice and Ella Smith; his brothers, David Schlein (Susan) and Stuart Schlein (Sylvia); and his sister-in-law Debbie Schlein.
